Assay: IMMULITE 2000 Intact PTH; Test Code: iPT; Siemens Material Number (SMN): (1) 10381441, (2) 10381442; Catalog Number: (1) L2KPP2, (2) L2KPP6;
The potential for falsely depressed Intact PTH patient results at the low end of the assay range, less than or equal to 50 pg/mL (less than or equal to 5.3 pmol/L), when using specific lots identified by the firm on the IMMULITE 2000/IMMULITE 2000 XPi systems. The bias is observed in both serum and plasma samples.

Access Intact PTH assay, a paramagnetic particle, chemiluminescent immunoassay for the quantitative determination of intact parathyroid hormone (parathyrin, PTH) levels in human serum and plasma using the Access Immunoassay Systems, Catalog Number A16972
Beckman Coulter has identified that some Access PTH reagent packs from lot 339071 may be over- or under-filled in well 0. The dispensed material in well 0 could be above or below specification, risking sealing issues, contamination, instrument errors, delays, or inaccurate results with a negative bias and increase in imprecision. The issue was confirmed on 10 April 2024 by Beckman Coulter through an internal non-conformance (NC-INT-66585). The well 0 scale on the filling line began malfunctioning on the fill immediately before PTH. The malfunction was not noticed until the majority of PTH was filled.

Access Intact PTH assay on the DxI 9000 Access Immunoassay Analyzer, Catalog number A16972, for the quantitative determination of intact parathyroid hormone (parathyrin, PTH) levels in human serum and plasma.
The reason for the recall is that EDTA and lithium heparin plasma samples that are stored in the DxI 9000 Access Immunoassay Analyzer sample wheel for a prolonged period before performing the intact PTH (parathyroid hormone) test may produce falsely decreased intact parathyroid hormone results. This could lead to a missed diagnosis, a delay in treatment, or inappropriate clinical management, depending upon the patient s clinical condition.

Future Diagnostics STAT-IntraOperative-Intact-PTH (STAT-IO-I-PTH) Immunoassay kit REF 4K-IPT-00. in vitro diagnostic.
Due to an issue of high coefficient of variability (CV) problem caused by the accuspheres inside the Immunoassay kits.

ADVIA Centaur Intact PTH (iPTH) Assay -assay (lot 138) Cat. Nos. 100 Test kit 04385983 (129501) 500 Test kit 06587575 (129502). For in vitro diagnostic use in the quantitative determination of intact parathyroid hormone (PTH) in EDTA plasma or serum using the ADVIA Centaur systems. This assay is intended to be used to aid in the differential diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, or hypercalcemia of malignancy.
Poor sensitivity and imprecision on ADVIA Centaur systems; Serum samples low bias; EDTA plasma samples low bias

Active I-PTH ELISA, Part Number: DSL-10-8000 The DSL-10-80000 ACTIVE I-PTH Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) Kit provides materials for the quantitative measurement of I-PTH in serum or plasma. This assay is intended for in vitro diagnostic use as an aid in the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism.
The recall was initiated because Beckman Coulter has confirmed that the stated stability of the DSL-10-8000 I-PTH ELISA and DSL-8000 I-PTH IRMA assays may not be achieved for the lot numbers affected by the recall. The affected I-PTH ELISA and the I-PTH IRMA kit lots may produce falsely elevated patient results. Internal stability testing showed an average 16% elevation for I-PTH ELISA lot 99
